Members-only Facebook group
We manage a members-only Facebook group, where members can freely post event announcements, shop promotions, or classified-style posts such as “For sale & wanted” and “looking for & giving away.” Membership requires living in the Netherlands and being able to read and write Japanese. The group provides useful information for daily life in the Netherlands and a safe space for online interaction. As of July 2025, the group has 3,584 members.
SNS updates
We post updates about JACOP-led events and related activities on Instagram and Facebook. This includes our regular programs, Otona no manabi-ba, as well as special events like the Amstelveen Police pop-up station and the Bunka-sai. We also share information about Japanese-related events from partner organizations that align with JACOP’s mission. By taking advantage of social media’s immediacy, we support and connect the Japanese community in the Netherlands.
